2 months agoFirst of all, I prefer to spend my money at local businesses! What makes Foris Meats so great is that they are local AND a terrific product. Once I discovered them at a local Saturday Farmers Market I started to take them as hostess gifts instead of the usual bottle of wine!! With so many items to choose from, the hardest thing to decide is which ones to pick. My favorites are the coffee bacon and zin salami!

2 months agoI shipped a holiday charcuterie box (the Buckeye) to my family in Maine and it was a huge hit! It arrived promptly and was loved by both the old (86) and young (10) - and everyone in between. I had to reach out to the company about enclosing a message, and they were super responsive. Overall, a GREAT gift option - high quality, unique, and delicious!

2 months agoMy family loved the Herbed Wagyu Bresaola. If you want to try something a little different, go for this one. It will please a variety of people. The meat was very high quality and the herb blend just right.

3 months agoThere are a few Foris items that are now traditions with my friends because they are so delicious. For example, any time we spend a weekend away, someone in the group has to bring the Cumberland sausage for breakfast! Charcuterie platter without Fino and/or Zin? No way!

5 years agoI've had Charcuterie boards all over the the country, so I appreciate my meats.. North Country Charcuterie products are true treasures. Incredible quality ingredients, masterfully prepared and beautifully balanced profiles. The only difficulty is picking a favorite! A MUST try and you'll be back for more.. without a doubt.

Five exceptional artisan salami check. Wine check. Cheese check.
I wanted to spoil myself and a few friends to a well-deserved treat. And a treat it was! A perfect assortment of house made salami to complete my relish tray.
I rather liked the layered flavors of the No1 Salami. At first you experience the buttery garlic taste of the salami followed by the subtle cooling taste of sage. Perfect for the colder approaching season, this is a wonderful classic sausage. The Lupo Salami was unlike any salami I had tried before. Dark and bold because of the stout flavor this was the finishing salami for me. Like a satisfying pint at the end of a long day. The crowd really loved the Rojizo Chorizo. Not too spicy but full of flavor, you get all the wonderful flavors of chorizo but mild enough to enjoy on its own.
I would recommend any of the salami made by North Country Charcuterie!

8 years agoNorth Country Charcuterie has great products. They really know their stuff and it truly is a family business. It's hard to find traditionally cured meats and boy can I taste the difference! I can't wait for this stuff to become available in Colorado too.

3 years agoNorth Country Charcuterie has yet to disappoint! The meats are uniquely flavored and I love that everything is sourced locally! My 7 year old LOVES the sage sausage!! It’s a must have in our house along with coffee bacon! I love the Lupo salami 🙂 The charcuterie kits have been a lifesaver when I need to ship a fun gift across the country! The last one I shipped to San Diego arrived quickly and without any problems!!
