Columbus Monthly - 2024 Good Food Awards
Good News from the 2024 Good Food Awards
Three local businesses, North Country Charcuterie, Crimson and Seek-No-Further Cidery, have been named finalists for the 2024 Good Food Awards by the Good Food Foundation. The foundation’s awards program recognizes "the contributions of American craft food producers in creating a tasty, authentic and responsible food system.” This year, the winners will be announced on April 29.
North Country is a two-time Good Food Awards winner. It won in 2022 for its Herbed Wagyu Bresaola and again in 2023 for its Wagyu Beef Bacon. North Country is vying for a three-peat with this year’s finalist in the charcuterie category: Fino Salami, a Finocchiona-style salami balancing ground fennel and minced garlic. You can find North Country’s Fino Salami at northcountrycharcuterie.com or the Worthington Farmers’ Market on Saturdays.
